Think about this.

My SharePoint library goes live with InfoPath template 1.0 as content type

After one year running, 1000 forms have been generated using this template (1.0)

But now the users want changes on the template 1.0 (adding more fields, buttons, codes logic etc.)

So we have template 2.0 then, and future forms will be based on template 2.0
Question: how can we update the first 1000 form to use template 2.0 as well? Thanks.
