  • InfoPath cannot connect to a data source

I created a form in InfoPath 2007 and linked it to an Access db (also 2007) table.   Last night the data connection worked fine.  This morning I went into the table and changed the data in a field - in fact, all I did was add 1 letter to a name in a cell, so I could see if that change would show in the data in my ...

  • Share Point or shared folder?

Hi,  We're using InfoPath forms linked to an excel spreadsheet, using MS Access as a connector between them.  This is all on the 2007 versions of these applications.  This is our first attempt at this and I'm trying to make sure that we have everything in the proper location.  Both the access database and the excel ...

  • Rules problem

I'm trying to enter a rule for a field on a form, which involves conditions of other fields on the form.  Specifically:  If [field on the form] is Null and [another field on the form] is > or equal to the absolute value of $xxx and [another field on the form] <> Null, then enter "Complete" in the field.  No ...

  • Are Infopath forms on Sharepoint subject to the same lockout issues when more than one users tries to access them?

We are using Infopath forms to view/update an excel spreadsheet (don't even ask why we are doing it this way).  Both the form and the spreadsheet will be on Sharepoint, and the users will access the form there.  I know that normally when you check out a file on Sharepoint, others can only view that file until the first user has ...
