  • Locate the last item within a Sharepoint List

    I have a simple development request form (Infopath 2010) that contains a few dates (today) and a review date, three text boxes (Previous Development, Development Review and Next Development) plus a few other rating options, user ID and Manager These are completed by trainees (users) and added to a Sharepoint 2010 list, producing a list with ...

  • Use Form Load to add a row to a Repeating Table

    I have seen some variants of this question on some InfoPath 2007 threads, but feel sure that hidden within 2010 there is a "simple" solution! I want to use a Repeating Table to log visits to a form by individuals named in the form, others can open the form but cannot make changes, I have resolved all the conditional ...

  • Re: Accessing the last node in a Repeating Table

    solved - well a work around has been implemented On the form with the Repeating Table I set up a couple of sets of extra hidden text boxes, copy the last RT row into the text boxes and promote the fields intothe sharepoint library. I use two sets of additional fields so that if the last row of the RT is not comlpeted I don't lose the ...

  • Re: Insert Blank Rows to Repeating Table

    Not sure if this topic is closed, or whether it should resurrect with each new InfoPath version :-( How would I insert a new row in InfoPath 2010? Ideally I intend using a Repeating Table for record the Review Dates when a list item is viewed (or reviewed with comments) The RT will initially be empty and the first row will have the access date ...

  • Re: Accessing the last node in a Repeating Table

    Hi Jimmy - sorry for the slow reaponse - I have been away on leave and just back  "didn't work" - what I was hoping to do was to copy the last completed entry in a Repeating Table from one Form into an appropriate structure (same number of columns) on a different Reporting Form using a Secondary Connection. At present when ...

  • Accessing the last node in a Repeating Table

    I am sure this has been solved numerous times, I just can't find the solution I want Consequently I have implemented a work around based on my web searching, which I now offer to others in the hope that someone (Hilary :-) ) will finalise what I want to do. Background I have a simple form with a single 3 column Repeating Table - Name, ...

  • Re: Repeating Table 2007->2010

    don't know if this will help anyone - or whether it is too obvious? I eventually found my original .xsn file for the Form, made a few changes to add extra functionality, changed the relevant textbox sizes to auto and 100%, republished the new Form, re-linked all of the existing forms, kept my fingers crossed and hey-ho... All items open with ...

  • Re: Repeating Table 2007->2010

    thanks Jo-Anne I will take a look at qRules and see if it makes life easier. My dataset is actually quite small at present - less than 50 items, but "cut & paste"would be so labor intensive - an not really techie enough. I'll let you know if I find some "revolutionary"way to resolve the challenge - other than qRules ...

  • Repeating Table 2007->2010

    Hi All  I have an IP2007 Form that sends its contents to a SharePoint 2010 Library. The form contains, amongst other things, a 4 column Repeating Table - the form works great so I have no query regarding that. Columns in the Repeating Table allow for multiline input, which results in a scroll bar at the end of the cell, when the text ...
