  • Re: Printing Issue: grey background

    Negative, we are printing to PDF via full blow Adobe Acrobat Professional.  And it is the same printing to a real world printer from InfoPath. I have been trying but canno replicate the error, either.  This for 1 user out of 300; the rest of us print fine. Weird. ~dustbin.

  • Printing Issue: grey background

    I have one user (out of ~300) that is experiencing printing issues. When he prints the form from InfoPath there is light grey background.  This background is in both PDF and hardcopy printed forms.  The grey background looks as if it is the entire print area inside the margins as set in InfoPath's page setup, not just where fields ...

  • Large SharePoint List Performance

    I have a HUGE SharePoint List I'm pulling Data from: 22,000 List Items ~12 minutes to export to Excel 8.5MB Excel file I am NOT saving a copy of the data in the template. I am NOT automatically retrieving the data when the form is opened. I setup a data connection to the list. I have a button in my InfoPath form that ...

  • Can't see Hint Text

    I have some optional sections next to other sections.  When I hover over some optional text sections, I cannot see the hint text (the orange box with arrow in it).  I can see a little sliver of it trying to appear but the rest is behind the adjacent section.  I need to move it in front. I would expect, but I can't seem to ...

  • re: Add SharePoint List Items with InfoPath

    This is great, and I got it to work. However, my situation has different requirements and I'm wondering how to modify your solutiont o meet these requirements. I need to perform a one-way push of the entire contents of a repeating table to a sharepoint list once a manager has reviewed the repeating table. I do not need to recieve data from the ...

  • Upgrading SharePoint server --> 2010.

    We're currently using InfoPath 2010, distributing via a SharePoint 2007 server. CIO intends to upgrade the SharePoint server to 2010. Does anyone know how this will impact my forms and thier functionality, document libraries, templates, etc?  Any pointers? Thanks in advance, ~Dustbin.

  • File Size

    How can I reduce an InfoPath form's file size? My .xsn form has grown to just over half a MB!  This isn't a problem for most of us hardwired, however there are many that are on the road, using the wi-fi at Hampton Inn, and this file size is almost unbearable! since its creation, my form has ballooned to 40 views, 4 data connections ...

  • Re: Query the GAL for other info.

    Lovely, Timely Response! I was actually going through the steps at http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/itaysk/archive/2007/04/05/InfoPath-_2D00_-Get-the-current-user-without-writing-code.aspx, exploiting the UserProfileService.asmx when I got your reply. You're Dead On!  Thanks!  ~Dustin.

  • Query the GAL for other info.

    The people picker works great, giving me Account ID, Account Type, and Name. I'd like to query other information from the GAL such as office address, phone, etc. Any pointers? ~Dustin.

  • Re: Infopath 2007 repeating table, select N column

    Gotcha.  As a test, I created a new form using the database template under Advance Form Templates (InfoPath 2010) You are correct, I could not add any fields outside of those brought in by the data connection (kinda useless). I would start with a blank filler form template, create the repeating table, bind the fields to a data ...
