I'm having the same problem and this is the perfect solution. I will remove my 'print view' and replace it with some nice section as a workaround. Thnx again. Additionally we have the problem that you cannot create a new Infopath form in the library using the 'New document' button in the ribbon. The error will state: This feature requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later and a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible XML editor such as Microsoft ... But we don't really want to rollout a feature on both farms (2007 and 2010) and also it works only with a right click menu afterwards - which is another change for the users. We would prefer a solution that works similar to IE - but maybe this is our last chance to get it ... Posted to General (Forum) by MichaelF on 09-08-2011 Infopath on SharePoint2010 on FireFox 3.6 on W2k Yes - I know - OMG, but still we have to support this in our company. The situation: We are migrating to SharePoint2010 in the next weeks. We still have a lot of Windows 2000 PCs that cannot be migrated to Windows7 in the near future. As alternate browser we rollout FireFox 3.6.18 for the users to be able to use the SP2010 sites. Now we found ... Posted to General (Forum) by MichaelF on 09-08-2011 Re: Attachments in read-only form + number format Dear all - sorry for the confusion. I found the root-cause to my problem. The form was created with IP07 and saved as IP03. While creating the form, the mentioned view was created as read-only. Now, as this option is not available in IP03 at all I didn't see it there at all. I now opened the form in IP07, removed the 'read-only' ... Posted to General (Forum) by MichaelF on 01-07-2010 Re: Attachments in read-only form + number format Please see above - while in read-only mode, the users must not be able to delete or replace the attachment, but they must be able to open it. This is working perfectly in InfoPath03 but not any more in InfoPath07 it seems. Posted to General (Forum) by MichaelF on 12-19-2009 Re: Attachments in read-only form + number format Hi all! At least I found a solution for my request #2. I've created an additional textfield and it's value is: format-number(SCI_TotalSCIPrice; "#,##0.00") . This creates the whished format and stores it as text, so we can use it afterwards in our emails. Any idea on request #1 concerning the attachments in ... Posted to General (Forum) by MichaelF on 12-15-2009 Re: Attachments in read-only form + number format Hi! Thnx for the hint, but using two sections with the same control does not help. The users must not be able to remove the attachment, but they must be able to open it. This is working perfectly in InfoPath03 but not any more in InfoPath07 it seems. Posted to General (Forum) by MichaelF on 12-11-2009 Re: unique list + additional filter not working Back from vacation I was curious about all the solutions for my problem :) Unfortunatly there is none... well - is there really no solution for this? Michael Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by MichaelF on 12-10-2009 Attachments in read-only form + number format Hi all! I have two questions this time: 1. We have an attachment control on our IP03 form. Using a read-only view in IP03 this will allow the users to open, save as and copy the attachment. But in IP07 the only options are cut/copy/paste and all of them are disabled. Any idea about that? 2. we have a calculated currency field. So there is a ...
