• Re: Show/Hide questions by a click of the button? :-)

Thanks for replying Patrick! I like the idea of the button changing to a ''+'' or ''-'' depending on the condition. In VB I would put this in the button's OnClick event but I'm new to InfoPath so could you instruct me on how to do this? Thanks again! quote:Originally posted by Patrick Halstead Sure. • Re: Opening another InfoPath Form

Hi Matt, Thanks for your response. What I am trying to do is to break a big form into multiple small form in a tabbed display. I currently have a skillset survey for my company and it contains more than 250 fields in it and the issue is that I cannot publish all these fields to the sharepoint website due to the limitation of 70 fields. I am ...

  • Re: Exporting to PDF from InfoPath 2007

Thanks for your response. I am using the ''Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS'' plug-in available here:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4D951911-3E7E-4AE6-B059-A2E79ED87041&displaylang=en I don't see any options in InfoPath 2007 to print to Adobe Acrobat. What should I do to make that option available?

  • Re: Email body

I doubt you will be able to do this very easily. You would have to create an HTML-based e-mail body and this is something that I have never done from scratch. Once you have the power of HTML you can do basically anything, such as bold, underline, colors, images, tables, etc.

  • Re: order of operation

The actions happen sequentially, so the Submit would happen first. There is also an option to ''Stop processing rules after this one'' that you can check out.

  • Re: Opening another InfoPath Form

Hi Afzal, I'm not sure what you mean here - I was going to suggest the feature you're already using. Do you want to close the current form that the user is working on? If so, there is another rule that will do this for you. Or are you trying to merge 2 forms together? There is an option to do this in code. Please explain more precisely what ...

  • Re: Exporting to PDF from InfoPath 2007

If you're just looking to open and read in Acrobat, I would think that the File -> Print, and then choose Adobe Acrobat printer would work decently. Is this what you're doing?

  • Re: Server Names and compiling

If you're using InfoPath 2007 this would be a perfect opportunity to use the Universal Data Connection, or UDC files. Otherwise, you could try out our deployment tool:http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QDeployment

  • Re: Problematic SQL Data Retrieval

Hi Lynton and welcome to the developing community - it's a wonderous place! The first problem is pretty interesting and I spent a little bit of time trying to figure the exact statement out and I got close but not 100%. The only problem is a type casting issue. You should be able to cast the number to a string, and then you'll need to add logic ...

  • Re: InfoPath with WebServices - Retrieving SQL Values

Hi Lynton and welcome to the forums! This sounds like a weird bug - my only suggestion would be to check the authentication settings, sometimes InfoPath has a hard time with this. Make sure that the site is added to your Local Intranet sites.
