It's a schema validation and the data source properties is where that should be specified.

The activex controls are not functional in a browser based infopath form . how in do we do this. Requirements is to run the audio the moment user reaches the view. anyone?

Hi Gopal and welcome to our forum!
Open the form in the designer. Change to the data source. Double click on the field that has the popup. Uncheck the cannot be blank checkbox.

I am very new to InfoPath 2007. I like to remove popup/tooltip displayed by Datavalidation such as ''Cannot be blank''. This sholud be very simple, but could not figure it out.
