I would use a SharePoint Designer workflow for this. Have a field in your form called status (doesn't have to show on the form) and first time the form is submitted, set the status to "Step 1" or something. Then, in the workflow, if the status is step 1, you can email the next person w/ the link to the form. When person 2 ...

Dear community,
We have an InfoPath 2010 form connected to a SharePoint list and hosted on our SharePoint 2013 domain.
It is a complex form, and multiple colleagues need to enter information into this form because they don't have all information available on their own. So it would start with a colleague who enters the ...

Hello,
Could you please go into more detail (step by step) of how to do the above? I need to accomplish something very similar for my VP and have not been able to get the desired results.
What I'm hoping to accomplish is have one drop down determine what drop down options appear in a second drop down and potentially third.
For ...

Thanks again. I talked to a user today that I saw had one of these multi-submits and asked if his browser refreshed or anything while he was filling out the form... the answer was no. The form that ended up getting properly completed ended up being the first file; the extra copies were created after. So it seems ...

I need to create a form so a user can add new records or delete existing records in a database table.
This is not something that he has to do a lot of, basically add new users and delete old users.
So it just needs to be a simple form.

I'd actually change the form to use main data source fields & rules to then set the CAML fields prior to submit - that would give you much more control over layout and control type. I'm going to email you a sample.

Hi
I have a repeating table calculating the overall hours from three double values (DRIVE_FPID40030F01 and NONE_FPID40030F02) plus the previous day total (HOS2_PREVIOUSTOTAL).
There is a reset boolean field (CYCLERESET) which resets the overall total. The user can only modify two fields DRIVE_FPID40030F01 and NONE_FPID40030F02.
The following ...

Ive just designed my first form which I intend on integrating with SharePoint. I have a drop down at the top which controls which fields are visible on the form (the visible fields are in 2 different sections). The only problem is that because these fields are mandatory when the I ...

Hi Hilary - thanks so much for responding! I've attached the screenshot - and if there's a way for me to email you the form template personally, I'd prefer that.
I do know how to populate dropdown menus from other lists - my issue right now is that I've got a library-based, browser-enabled form template that's used for ...

It makes complete sense, actually - but I can't think of any way to do that via built in InfoPath stuff.... Even if you tricked them into clicking a URL on the form or something that would then actually open the saved form - it would open in a new tab & leave the old form sitting in the old tab.
