  • Disabling 'Action' menu items...

Hello, I want to customize my permissions in a document library in MOSS 2007 or as well in WSS 3.0 but unfortunately ... I wasn´t able to figure out how I can disable the 'Windows Explorer view' of the library or even the whole 'Action' menu. I dont want all the users to be able to use it, because I would like to ...

  • Re: How to submit repeating section to SharePoint

bharvey, actually this is exactly what I wanted to do. I followed the instructions and it worked. I should have explained myself a lot better. Thank you both for the help.

  • Richtext control issues

Hi all,  I’m trying to use Richtext controls in browser enabled forms deployed to SharePoint however I am experiencing several problems. Firstly having several rich text controls on one view makes the form navigation slow and cumbersome when it’s used in a browser in InfoPath its fine.   Also I’m trying to use some as a ...

  • Re: Passing InfoPath Parameter via sharepoint

Patrick,  I am having a problem similar to this.  I am able to pass my form an input parameter just fine when I call it from the command line.  However, when I call it as a url it fails to pass.  My form is published to a sharepoint form library.  Any ideas? I am using Infopath 2007  Thanks, Jim

Merge is a way to aggregate the data, although troubled as you mention but I believe he wants to "promote" the field which merge does not apply to.

  • Re: How to submit repeating section to SharePoint

Using Sql/Access is the best way.  However, not to disagree with Clay but, you can submit to the sharepoint site and retrieve all data.  When you setup your data connection, you selected the field(s) to store in the sharepoint site. Below that field option is where it says "first"   instead of "first", ...

  • Re: disable submit on close?

thanks - I'll try again tomorrow (I'm at home now).  I tried once and it didn't seem to work using a button with rules/action but I can certainly try again.   Thanks again Clay!
