  • Re: IP 2003 Button OnClick field access

Welcome to the forum. Yah, You just need to get the syntax correct. Here is a thread with some sample VBscript where they are assigning values.  You set the node and then use the .text to get the value. http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/5444/20497.aspx#20497

  • Re: Change the color of the selected row

I would think you could possibly use the current() function... maybe. Another option would be to set a field in your main DOM with the unique data for the current row when it is selected or something. Then it would be a simple conditional format where field in row = field in form.

  • IP 2003 Button OnClick field access

Some help for an InfoPath beginner.  I've done some light VBScript, but I'm a bit lost here in InfoPath 2003.  I have a text box on a form with a path entered.  I created a button called "Open" to open that path in Explorer.  This code works:   Set objShell = CreateObject ...

  • Re: Carraige returns are'nt formatting in my Expression box

Expression boxes, unfortunately, do no support rich text. There's a hack you can do to the XSL file to make them show rich text, but it is not supported and InfoPath will revert your change unless you put your expression box into a Preserve Code Block -- a lot more work than it is worth. Since your view is strictly a Print View, just use a ...

  • Re: Close the form and link to a (sharepoint) website

You can set up a rule on the button to close the form. However, launching a web page is not supported via rules. You can probably do this in code, or if you put the button in the task pane, you can definitely do this.

  • Re: Submitting InfoPath form to SharePoint?

Yes Debbie.  You could create a menu page with hyperlinks to each form template. This cannot be done in a library but on some other page.  Each form would be set to the specific library it would submit to. That is set in the form but you do not need to go to each library and select new.  That is just a hyperlink so you can put ...
