One thing is that if you change the SQL Tables you need to go into Data Connections and modify the Data Connection and go through the setup again for it to see the new fields in the form.
Then you also need to set the update exisitng forms in form options.
In 2007 go to form options and then the versioning section and sekect to automatically ...

I have the secondary connection set up.
Can you be more specific? I'm new to InfoPath and not sure were the filter or conditional rule goes. Do you have step by step instructions or an example somewhere to look at? Thanks.

This drop down list box allows of course one of the many fields to be used, I've selected the customer name. The issue I have is that on the same infopath form I want to ...

Hi Clay,
The SQL DC is the main connection, and the fields are added to the SQL table and we are pulling them from the main data source onto the form.
This was an old form, and it had two stages. Stage two needed additional fields, so we re-opened the form and first added the new fields from SQL and then dragged them onto the ...

Is the SQL DC the main or a secondary?
Are the fields you mention added to the SQl table or into your form?
Is this new forms or existing forms that were completed before the change?

Hi Rico.
My guess is this is the IIS issue where credentials cannot be passed to a second site. "double hop" I believe it is referred to as.
When a form runs in IPFS it cannot pass your credentials again to SQL or a seperate server. As a work around, create a SQL account for access in SQL and then put that in your UDC file so ...

Hello,
I have an Infopath form that stores data in text fields from an sql datasource. All of the fields on the form can store data, but when I add any new fields, the field is there but I cannot enter data in the new fields. Any suggestions as to how I can rectify this problem will be greatly appreciated.

This is interesting.
To your reference to jscript, IPFS does not use any script and only managed code. so that might be a clue but still interesting it itterates through the repeating nodes differently.
