The basics would be just to set up a new form, with the data connection to load when opened, and then just dump the whole data set on a view as a repeating table to verify the data is being pulled in and the issue is not in script.

Clay.. did you get my email? I definitely could use your help!

Those were all great suggestions. I checked the security and it is good. I am using a secondary connection and querying it via JScript.
I did try the final suggestion of recreating a form. I got a new error message:
The following error occurred:
'XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(...)' is null or not an object
File:script.js

Any reason why you are doing this in code rather than rules and actions.
You can submit and close the form there too.
You can use an .Alert("Done") in code to generate a message box if you want.
I believe you would receive an error if there was a problem but not sure how you can provide a confirmation.

I would verify the permissions on the view in SQL for the user's account, that is the most common.
Is this a secondary connection or a main data connection? Are you actually sending a query parameter?

It sounds like InfoPath is not registered wityh windows as the default application to open XML or XSN files.
You could save one of each locally.
Right click and select open with and then manually set InfoPath to always be opened for these files.
Or probably a reinstall or repair of office would fix it too.

I have a data connection to submit a form via email called "emailMySubmit". When I perform a "Submit To Email", I get a popup confirmation stating "The form was submitted successfully." I assume this means it performed a validaiton to ensure it was sent to Outlook.
Since I want to close InfoPath after a submit, I ...

I have created a InfoPath form that queries a datasource for a a user and then auto populates other fields on the form. I orginally designed this using an MS Access database and everything worked perfectly. I changed the datasources to point to a SQL database (The SQL view's structure is identical to the Access table) and now I get ...
