Hey Phil.
DBXL installs itself and configures itself.
It requires IIS and SQL. So if you have a server with this it should be a simple install.
Then use the tutorials in the download area to get started.
Also good to email the guys at Qdabra to give you a demo of some of the capabilities and how it could meet your solution requirements ...

I have done this with the Qdabra web services.
To get the return value it must be setup as a receive connection and submit via code.
Hope that helps.

This is a problem when trying to share a document library.
I think there may be a way to fix this but have not had to do it.
Typically if you have a bunch of similar forms you should just have one super form then you would not have this issue.

I have about 9 InfoPath 2007 forms (not browser-enable) that are submitted to the same SharePoint Server 2007 Forms Library. Each form has a set of promoted properties, including ones like Client Name and Client ID. The problem is that each property is added, so I end up with 9 Client Name properties and 9 Client ID ones, and of course I want only ...

It is always really hard to pick up and come to terms with a project someone else has left behind -- I understand your frustration. I guess I am kind of curious why the form wasn't just based on the db to begin with -- when you create a new InfoPath form, you have the option to base it off a db and then (depending on the types of fields in the ...

I think this is an InfoPath instead of .NET security issue. If you look at the View.Export method on msdn(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.infopath.view.export(VS.80).aspx) you'll find the following:
This member can be accessed only by forms opened from a form template that as been configured to run with full trust ...

Hi all,
I would like infopath to export a single html file (.MHT) using code-behind (c#). The purpose of this, is to send this file as an e-mail attachment to recipients from a repeating table in the form by code.
On my form, I have a button with the following code:
thisXDocument.View.Export(@"c:\temp\myFile.mht", ...

Yes, I looked at the XSD from VS 2005 and there are no nil attributes. The problem is that a contractor was assigned to do this project and he had to leave, so I had to complete it. He used VS 2005 to create the XSD from the sql server database. I do not even know if that is the best way. Is that what most people use when they need to create an ...

Did you look at the xsd you created with Visual Studio to see if the xsi:nil attribute was on the elements that you'd like to be able to leave blank? I'm just curious if that is indeed what happened in the creation of the schema. Keep in mind, the blog post I referenced is from 2005, things may have changed since then. Is your intent to ...

Hello all!
Ok, this seems like a pretty common question asked around this forum but none of the solutions for other people have been working for me. I am SO CLOSE to having this work but still no cigar. Here is what I want to do:
Submit a complex datatype to a webservice and return a newly generated report number back to ...
