Visual Studio during debug confirms the batch template is being filled with my forms values.
Then wsSubmit.execute()
New item appears in the Document Library.
None of my forms values are in the item, the columns are empty.
The names map across the board, internalnames / etc etc -> batch fields -> form fields. All have the same names, ...

I am a little confused on how to solve this problem I have. I created an XSD schema from a sql server database using VS2005. The infopath form is based on this schema and we have many fields that are short data type (mostly lookup values in drop down lists). My issue is that infopath warns you that "only integers allowed" in these fields ...

Hi All,
I have been trying to use the Excel Services from inside the InfoPath.
One solution is to use the Web Browser Active-x component and map it to the Excel Services http address. (If you find the Web Browser object in the Active-x Control, some one in microsoft filtered this control out in infopath... I dont know why !)

I have created a DB and appropriate tables, I would now like to make the IP form submit data to the DB through a web service. If I install DBXL, do I need to do anything to IIS or SQL to make the connection? I'm new to all 3 so be gentle.
Thank you!
Phil.

Create a simple form with an attachment control and create a new document and save it.
Record its size
Take an attachment file. Word file or something.
Record its size.
Attach the file to the document and save
Record its size.
Do the math. :)

I am so happy you have your form working the way you want! As far as submitting your rows to a SharePoint list, you could first set up a data connection to the list, then, in your code, set the data fields in the list to the values you want to submit, and submit. I am not sure of the syntax, but here is a link to the InfoPath Developer Reference ...

There is not really anything in InfoPath out of the box to help with reporting and analysis. It collects the data but you need something else to do what you describe.
Sharepoint could maybe do it, depending on if you have repeating data in your form.
Typically SQL is the best for storing and manipulating the data, especially this volume.
