I dont understand how to tell it to not include something that is not in the XML. The file doesnt have any #N/A in it...however that is showing up in every dropdown regardless of the xml attached.

Hi - what do you mean department is showing as ID? Do you mean in the dropdown itself? Is the Department a lookup in your Job Title list?

Ok, I think I was not clear. I am trying to do it in infopath. That field, which should be a read only multiline field, is filled by a sds. And it depends on another dropdown list (cascading). So when I make a choice in first dropdown list, that field I am trying to make, will be populated and it has always multi lines. Regards

i was using a data connection for a MSLB and displayed the same control 3 times with filtered values on that view. Once I removed this and entered the selections manually it stopped shaking. OK I changed out the top dropdown for option buttons and the first dropdown works but the second one isnt can you take a look please. the details are not filling in on the Additional Details dropdown. Dorinda

ok so all of my xml need to be attached I did that and it is all working, the only issue is the repeating piece from before.......just wish i knew how to make that go away
