There must be something awry in the conditional formatting - can you please attach your XSN here so we can take a look? Thanks for your patience. I think that you may be able to accomplish returning all the groups by creating a dummy user account in Active Directory and adding that user to all of your groups. After doing this, ... Check out the rule in field1 - you'll see that it first checks if the length is 32 characters, and then it builds the string using the formula: concat(substring(., 1, 2), ":", substring(., 3, 2), ":", substring(., 5, 2), ":", substring(., 7, 2), ":", ... Glad to hear you managed to come up with a workaround :) Posted to General (Forum) by Mel Clemente on 07-03-2013 Re: Form Load Rule to Switch Views Based On Option Button Here's that selected image. The picture would be exactly the same as the option button - I attached a sample image. I'll reply again with an image of a selected option button. This way you can trick your users into thinking they're still clicking on an option button. =) Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by Mel Clemente on 07-02-2013 Re: Current selection with value Hi, can you please attach your form so we can take look? Posted to General (Forum) by Mel Clemente on 07-01-2013 Re: Maximum number of rules on a section There isn't a maximum number of rules, as far as I know. If you have more than 5, you can change your last condition to an expression and then separate the succeeding formulas with AND/OR. Let me know if you need more info. And then for the validation check, you would want to count the number of rows in your repeating group where the course is booked; and if it reaches 30, don't allow adding more. I attached a sample form with the basic proof of concept - hope it helps. For the SharePoint list submit, you can use InfoPath's stock submit functionality to submit to the list, but submitting to a SQL database at the same time would probably need a web service. We do have a DBXL document service that allows submit to SharePoint and SQL - feel free to ...
