All I want is to have a single record referenced when I added a field (which may now come from any one of 7 tables) to data section in the IP form. At the moment when I drag a field over, it automatically assumes a repeat section. What can I do to correct ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Ian Dawson on 02-07-2009 Had a large table working well in IP, split into 7 small, cannot get IP Forms to work. I had 1 large Access database. And one InfPath Form using that database. All seemed okay. Until Access spat the dummy and would not allow me to maintain the DB. I was advised to split the table up into smaller ones. I did so. And now have 7 small Access tables, averaging about 40 fields per table. The problem is. I am trying to ... Then use conditional formatting to hide the hyperlink when linkGenerated is false, and hide the textbox when it's true. Posted to Controls (Forum) by Jimmy on 02-06-2009 Re: xpath errors when converting infopath 2003 template to infopath 2007 Do you want your form to be browser compatible? Somewhere in your form (condtional formatting, a rule) something is being based on a user's role, and browser compatible forms can't have user roles.... If you don't want browser compatibility, go to Tools/ Form Options / Compatibility and deselect the browser compatibility check box.... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-06-2009 Re: Get and Check User Domain name Well, this will get you the full user name, including the domain, but requires full trust: System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name So, you'd be able to substring off the domain by getting the info before the '\'. But again, since it would require your form to be full trust, I wonder if it would be worth it. ...
