I have 2 key fields, if the second key is used, form fills with records entered for 1st key

A default seems to be that if a key field is blank, and the Query button selected. Then all records are displayed. If a value is entered for a key field, only that record is displayed.

The Problem is :-  If I have 2 key fields, each one a field from a separate table. I enter a value for the second field.
All records are displayed for the table represented by the first key field.

I think I am going to have to DUPLICATE the 2nd key field in the same table as the first key field.!!  True??

I have 7 ACCESS tables all linked by a key field, the first one above.  the second key mentioned above is not .

What can I do to only show records for the 2nd key??
