Hi Tammy,
[Begin soapbox]
The best practice is to start from XML and use a middle-tier (aka Web Service) to map to a database. Then you don't have to try to deal with the special schema bindings that InfoPath uses to map to SQL. My guess is that there's some bug in InfoPath which complains but removes the namespace when you try to change ...

Hi Jimmy,
Thank you so much. I am able to finish 95% of my stuff.
The only remaining thing is that data from first row is getting inserted into database. So if i add three rows to the repeating table and hit submit button, then values from first row get inserted 3 times into database. I debug my code while looping through each row and ...

This would require programmatically changing the view's XSL which is not supported. It would be cool to do it but the only thing that comes close is to use the cursor context to show guidance text. As far as I know, you can't dynamically set tooltips, but we have often wanted to. If you find a trick, let us know! :)

Hi, and welcome...
In C#, in your OnLoad (IP2003)
thisXDocument.IsReadOnly
Or in Loading (IP2007)
this.ReadOnly
Either of these return a boolean value of True if the document is read only and false if it is not. You could add a field to your form data source (or a secondary data source) and in your loading code you could set the ...

Word Print views are tough. Is there any way a print view in InfoPath could suit your needs? You can create a print view for a view in a form and only put the fields you want to have print on it....
