I have a timesheet form that I need to be able to sort by date and / or project no. There doesn't seem to be any inbuilt functionality is there a way of getting around this?

Buttons on infopath forms gets disabled randomly when published on sharepoint
when page is refteshed it gives fallowing error :
The data posted from the browser is invalid. This may arise if a button (with an action other than rules) has been set never to send form data to the server.

We cann't make a section ready in infopath. We need to add conditional formatting for every field in that section.

Your intuition is correct. It's better to do loose coupling and submit a string. See my recent post in response to Donna for a brief discussion of best practices. Main reason is that you can have one Web service that can be used for multiple InfoPath forms and submission process doesn't break when the form or the DB ...

Are you copying the values from the repeating section to non-repeating nodes before submitting, or is the Submit connection hooked up directly to the repeating table? If you would paste your code here I could probably show you what's going wrong.
