• Re: Email values from repeating table items

Glad to help. Do open new threads if your new topics are different than this thread. I think that understanding XPath and how to reference the different fields in your form is key to being able to get very far with InfoPath (and I still struggle sometimes myself!). When you have time, I really recommend this tutorial from W3 schools, it may help ...

Hey Hilary, Thank you thank you thank you...you really saved me on this. It appears to be working. I have a few more questions if you don't mind but I can open a new post for those if you'd like. I need to do some more digging first anyway. This was the major piece though. ...

Here is a blog post from an issue a customer encountered a few weeks ago: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/jo-anne_alfafara/archive/2009/02/21/why-adws-will-not-work-with-dropdowns-on-browser-enabled-forms.aspx
  • Re: how to split up results in a repeating table, in a browser-enabled form

I took your suggestion and started using qRules, however, I must be doing something wrong because it's not working properly: I inserted 3 new repeating tables in the form (Main DS). Their XPath is (down to the field ...
Hi Crystal, Sorry to hear you're having problems. Of course, we have this working with browser-based forms and we'd be happy to have someone call you and show you a live Webinar of how it works. My guess is that you didn't set up the UDC files for the data connections or forgot to approve ...
So your open rules don't run when you open it in the browser? Does the design checker show any errors?
Design checker came back with no errors.
  • Create a Split Public/Private Form

There is sometimes a need to have a form that works differently for public (external) vs. private (internal) use. As an example, you might want to make a simple form to be sent out via email or downloaded from a website and submits back to you via email. This could be a survey, an order form, a signup, or whatever. But once you get it back, you ...

  • Re: Enable version control on the Forms Server

Hello Miceagol and welcome to the forums! It sounds like you are trying to upload your form as an Administrator Approved form. You will actually need to publish that form as an Administrator Approved Form. See this Technet article for complete information on doing this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262921.aspx. Also, this blog may ...

Okay, a couple notes about this article for some of the folks having troubles. First off: I did get it to work after a few trial and error moments, thanks for the great post! On this step: "Add the submit section: Open the Data Source task pane, and then choose Add List Item Template from the Data Source drop-down list. ...

  • Re: Email values from repeating table items

Since your namespace manager code was working for you in your initial sample, stick with that. Looking at your schema and the placement of your button, I'd think you'd get values from these lines: string csitem = e.Source.SelectSingleNode("ns:CSItemVersion", ...
