Hi,
I would like to know is there some way which will prevent users from changing the formatting styles while filling up a form in InfoPath 2007. They should fill the form as per the predefined styles and should not able to change any style like font, size etc.
Quick reply would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Shiraz,
One of my clients is facing the same problem and I suggested them the above
steps. Even then they are not able to open the form.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

hello, i changed the dropdown fields to simple textfields for my print view.
now they are showing the key instead of the matching values.
is it possible to show the values based on the data connection like the normal view does ?
thank you very much !

The only client ...

So if I wanted the filter to include rows where field1 = field2 (ignore case), I could use the formula
translate(my:field1, "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ", ...

You asked the same question the other day regarding filtering. Have you tried to actually search for filtering? There are quite a few threads and Greg Collins even has several blog posts on how to filter a value based on a previous value. Go to our search (see earlier reply) and search for "Cascading Dropdown Filters" ...

Have you tried to turn on SharePoint history? Change tracking isn't supported by InfoPath. But, you can store history in SharePoint (MOSS 2007). However, to verify a change, you'll need to query previous doc on submit and diff it yourself. Too bad InfoPath didn't support this. Of course, you could also use our Web Service suite (DBXL) ...

You could move the form to a separate form library. You could also write code to not allow checkout. Two options ... I'm sure there are more ...
