Ok, I see what you're doing in the form, and I see what is happening.  What I don't know is what you want to do with the vacation days.  I don't see a calculation.  I just see a radio button that sets itself to the value of 1, and then you have a rule that sets another text field to the value of the vacation days ...

Kinda weird to keep replying to myself but I found that this solution does not work in forms services - It says the expression is invalid - I will continue to test and see if I can solve it there   Richard

I've attached a sample that uses preceding-sibling to do what you want, I believe. Right click the link in the header of this post, and select save as to save the form locally. Then right click your local copy and select design to open in design mode. Preview to see the auto populated info, and add additional rows to see more. Hope that helps!

I'm curious too. I actually uploaded a template I liked.  Created a site with it.  Then used SharePoint Designer to open that site to modify it to my likings, but most areas were not editalbe.  So, how do you edit a template?
