Hi,
I create a web service using C# to try with based on example given in (http://weblog.vb-tech.com/nick/archive/2007/01/12/2088.aspx). Now my problem is i don't know how InfoPath decides which fields are required and which are not. There are fields which are required in database but infopath do not recongnize that but it treats ...

To display an alert message, you could add a little logic to the form that checks whether or not it is read-only and pops up a warning. This is probably an hour of time for one of our Qdabra InfoPath developers. You can't do this without writing code today, but you could just tell users to check the ...

The text field is populated with the user initiating the form. So, when a user submitting the form, it is taking the current user name(initiator) from AD and saving it. So, When I am opening the form, it is not changing the name. I am switching views depending upon the user name.
I am ready to use the loading event. However, I ...

Thanks! Worked like a charm. I figured out what you were saying afterwards, but I wasn't sure on how to access the value of the value of listItemNav.Current.
This settles it. Thank you very much for your effort and patience. I really appreciate it.

Hi,
The forms get a unique name -- and when I submit a form myself, it shows up on the list. It is not over-writing itself.
This is a very simple form -- when submitted, it is supposed to go the library. It has been working just fine. It appears to allow other people to submit the form, but their forms don't get into the ...
