I don't think so you can hide a section through code. B'cause there is no property in code for hidding a section .
But You can try it like this repeate first 3 steps mentioned in previous post. Then instead of writting a rule on the button, set the value of the check box though button code.

Hi Patrick,
maybe I give a little more background on this: A local version of MS SQL Server is installed on every client-tablet-pc. I've set up a replication scenario to synchronize to a central database where all the users occasionally connect to. Every form is saved in an xml-column as one row. Conflict management is done when synchronizing ...

Have you actually debugged into the workflow and put a breakpoint in the onTaskChanged event to see that it is not getting hit?
The only other thing I can think of (if the event is not getting fired) is that in your IP form, in the rules for your Submit button, you have somehow accidentally deleted the 'submit using a data connection' ...

Hi Louise,
I'm not sure I understand your question. You want to control access to parts of the template. Do you mean you want to control access to certain XML files created with the template? InfoPath doesn't provide template section permissioning. SharePoint supports XML instance permissioning but it's manual. Qdabra's DBXL ...

Hi Arran,
If the fields in the row are all in the main data source, you can use xpath to correctly select them when doing the calculations. There is a function called preceding-sibling which you will want to master. Here are a bunch of ...

HI all, I've just encountered a small bug that's occurring with this code. When a user enters in a value for my:ChequeAmount, the text generated in the my:AmountWords field is sometimes off by a penny. I've gone through and tested all denominations and it appears that the pence (cents) are falling short on occurrences ...

Hi CPalm,
This seems like overkill to me. Are you doing this to provide some kind of offline help? What happens when they go back online and submit to the DB? Does it reconcile the version submitted? If not, how do you prevent other people from editing.
If you absolutely need offline support, you could just use InfoPath's built-in support ...

Use links to open the forms from SharePoint. Don't send them in Outlook as attachments, just send the view. That should solve your problem. To construct the links, you may need to add some rules to your forms. I have a blog post coming in a week or so that details how to do this. Good luck!

Hi Hummer,
To automatically add rows to a repeating table requires code. We provide the free qRules 1.8 to do this. There are commands for inserting items into a repeating table and for copying a table from one place to another. Go to Qdabra.com->Products and download. Since it requires code, you'll have to Admin-deploy the form, but that ...
