Is there a way around the limitation that doers not allow embedding images in a browser based form? I can't seem to see how the "Embedded Linkl" option can be used for this.
We are using an InfoPath form to register software enhancement requests, and typically screen scrapes from the softwarte form that is to be modified are used in ...

I found the answer to my own question: Tools, Options, General (tab), and select the Print background colors and pictures checkbox.

Sure, create the data connection to recieve data from SQL (a web service would be preferred). Then, in Design mode, open the data source pane on the right, change to the SQL data connection, drill down to the repeating group that contains the nodes, drag that repeating group to the canvas, and let it create a repeating table. The particular error you were getting about relative vs absolute I've never seen, but the root ...

Well..why does it work with Word Documents. You know what I mean? If I create a Word doc in a library....set an alert for new items, when I recieve the email and I can click on the link in the email and the word doc comes up. Is that because IE and Word are integrated together more so?

There are no user roles in browser forms, so you have to create your own mechanism like in my articles:
InfoPath - User Roles in Browser-Enabled Forms Using AD Groups
InfoPath – User Roles in Browser-Enabled Forms Using Contacts List
Once you incorporate a method like this, you can then create your views and use Form ...
