• Re: View infopath form in sharepoint without locking record

hi dstidham, dont worry about the speed hit, because you will keep on finding ways to improve performance, but dont compromise on functionality Having so many sections does not necessary mean that your speed will be affected, speed majorly depends on your implementation skills.

Hi tza_03, Sorry i could not reply to it earlier, i was on vacation. Just a quick question regarding the workflow, what value does it expect in which fields to delete the form. you are resetting the value of flagAction when one clicks on yes in confirmation view. I think that is the culprit.

  • Re: Creation of views programatically

I think you could be right but anyone who would like to disagree please do :) do you know if there is anyway to programmatically modify the content of views? If not then I may just have to come up with a new plan :P

Solved. After trial an error, all I had to do is delete a simple row in a table (which only had text) and the error vanished. Is there a way to view the source code of the form? I assume its some form of html.

  • Re: Another cascading drop down lists question

thanks for your reply. I will take a look at your solution tomorrow at work and let you know. I know some of the third levels dont have options, but try as I might I could not get any at all to list, even those that definitely should have. No doubt I will have got some filter wrong somewhere.

  • Unsupported Images

I'm designing a form in Infopath 2007, and in the Design Checker I get the error "Unsupported Images", however it doesn't redirect to me were the error is on the page. I tried searching for a solution, but no luck. Screenshot of error: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g245/ryn004/infopath_error.jpg

  • Re: What constitutes an InfoPath version change?

Infopath changes the version whenever the form is published and it increases the version number automatically, if a form has a version number 2.0.0.1 and we publish it, the version number is changed to 2.0.0.2

Hi nebuk, I dont think views can be created programatically, because that will attribute to changing of schema at run time. I would be more than happy if anybody has a positive response for this.
