Thanks for the resposne.
Actually, I am doing the same currently. And that is working well.
It is just that I wanted to know the possibility of showing javascript like popups under the framework (browser enabled form etc...) I quoted. Since Rich Client Forms allow popups, I would expect that even browser enabled forms should be ...

You just need to shift your logic. You don't open forms to specific views on command, but rather you add rules to the Form Load logic to tell the form which view it should switch to based off some known information that can be compared. If you must pass a value with the button, then it may have to be a URL query parameter that sets ...

Hi,
I'm new to infopath and I'm figuring out how to make one field/textbox's value generated automatically, This field is an ID w/c is unique with other file under the same library.
How will the ID be populated/generated automatically? Hoping for your help.
Thanks

Did you try this?:/path/to/repeatingField[last()]/dateField The last() selector should be on the repeating node, not the date field itself.

In my browser-enabled form (InfoPath 2007), I have an Optional Section control I want to show/hide selectively using code-behind. In a client-only form, I understand this can be accomplished by calling the ExecuteAction method on the control. Is there an equivalent for browser-enabled forms? Thanks.
