Hi Sachin,
What kind of encoding is the Login Web Service using? Is it RPC encoded or Direct Literal? I suppose it's correct since you can add it. My guess is that there's something not compatible with the Web Service. Not sure, but if you go to the WSDL page (the ASMX) for the Web Service does it show the parameters? Qdabra's Web ...

Hi SKSOLE,
Window ID? You mean the ID of the InfoPath Window? You can get the username of the logged in user - there's an InfoPath command for that. If you need SharePoint user credentials you can use SharePoints web services to get it. If you want Active Directory information, Qdabra has a Active Directory Web Service that will return that ...

Hi MossDev1,
Well, you could just turn off SharePoint WF and use InfoPath rules and conditional formatting to do your workflows. In-form workflow is just as powerful as SharePoint workflows.
Sorry for not having a better explanation of how WF is hijacking InfoPath.

Hi Marzipan,
qRules has a function for querying SharePoint lists, called FilterOwssrv. If you can see the version info in a SharePoint list, you can query it via qRules.
You might also want to look at DBXL which has much more extensive version support than SharePoint and allows you to list version information as well as query for old version ...

Hi again,
Just save the XTP to a place where people can access them and make sure they are defined with UDCs (universal data connections) to make it easy to change secondary data sources that they access. In the InfoPath Designer, you can browse to the XTP location when you select add a custom control.

Enjoy the ...

Hi Evvo1961,
You have a very oenophilicly auspicious alias - 1961 is a fine vintage!
Try promoting the field you want to see in the workflow. Go to Tools->Form Options->Promoted Properties and add the fields you want to use. This may fix it but I haven't tried it.
We tend to use in-form workflow for InfoPath. InfoPath has rich rules ...

Hi SharePoint99,
You need to look at using current() when you set your field. Greg Collins has a bunch of posts on how to use this. Check out his blog on this site and search for current. Here's one example: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/greg/archive/2004/07/08/Identify-the-Current-Table-Row.aspx.
Happy days!

Hi MVP23,
SharePoint date formatting is based on SQL data types since that's how the data is stored. What I recommend is to add an additional text field to your repeating table that extracts the date in the format you want to display in SharePoint. This is a hidden field that gets set when the other field changes. You can use Qdabra's ...

Hey TexasTwo,
Make sure you aren't caching the secondary data source and that the XML data source is set up to be included in the XSN. You may need to add the XML as a resource. If the file is changing outside of the XSN, you can make it external and it will load on open if you have it checked. Probably just need to reconfig the data source. ...

Hi Prasad,
Guess I am missing something, or is the box actually empty.
