I am using InfoPath 2003 and have created a form. Upon clicking Submit on the form, I need the data to go to sharepoint (got that done already), but then I need to reset the form so that all fields but two aren't populated. So after submission, I want say the date and name to stay exactly as input the first time, but all other ...

Hi Gil,
You're right - this is not possible and I must apologize for marketing a feature that I thought was possible, but sadly is not. I have asked our Website admin to update the page so we aren't advertising something that can't be done. It's a limitation of the order in which the rules fire and the fact that you can't have ...

If you change the datatype of the field bound to the checkbox, the checkbox settings will allow you to set the checked and unchecked values for the control.

I am curious if there is an easy way to have a checkbox have a text or number value, Like when a checkbox is checked display text or numbers and when its not checked display nothing. I have a form with 8 checkboxes, and right now the values go into a hidden text field, but it just reads of truefalsetruefalsefalsefalsetruefalse. I ...

There are 2 optional sections, each with 5 questions (which set of questions they get depends on an earlier selection) for the user to ...

Oops. I already had code in the form before injecting qRules.
Removed the code, re-injected qRules, and... Success !!
Looks like I can add the code back in, if necessary, correct ?
Also, still wondering what "type" to specify on the SortTable command for a date field...
Thanks for your help !!

I think the issue is that this is a loading rule. Since rules run before code in InfoPath, we can't use qRules in rules that run when the form is opened. For testing, try setting the same rule on a button, just to ensure your command is correct and everything works as anticipated. I'd expect that finishedLoading would be true, not false, ...

Good advice. Thanks.
Still not doing anything. My form now shows the version (2.2), finishedLoading (false), isSwappingDom (false), and Command (see below). All others are blank.
Here's my command: SortTable /row=my:myFields/my:NotesSection/my:group10/my:NotesTable /compare=my:NotesText
Also, I'm currently sorting by a ...

Is the button a built in InfoPath control? Or a button that was added that has code behind? Is there a reason not to use IP built in functionality for adding sections?
