Can I create a button that inserts an optional section?

     Hi all,

My form template includes some nested repeating sections and normal sections. The outermost repeating section has a blue button located at the left-top of the section.  My users are inserting sections using this button and it causes problems (crashes), so I'd like to get rid of the button.  My question is: Can I get rid of that blue button at the left-top, and still create another button that inserts the repeating section and all contents? I'm not a programmer, so codeless is best.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Is the button a built in InfoPath control? Or a button that was added that has code behind? Is there a reason not to use IP built in functionality for adding sections?

     Hilary,

My users might be a bit weirder than most.  They have a tendency to click the left-top blue button and then accidentally delete the section.  I need to disable their ability to delete the entire section but still allow them the ability to insert additional sections.  I thought that I could disable the insert controls on the section and then use a button that the user clicks to insert it.  I'm pretty new to all of this, so I'm sure there are better ways . . . I'm just not aware of them.

     Thanks for answering . . .

Qdabra's qRules has an Insert command that can be called on a button click to insert a row in a repeating table: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx
