I have a sharepoint list and would like to ascend a column. Is it possible to use Xpath on a repeatable table so it will automatically ascending the data in a column? I have read that it is possible with XML but couldn't find if it is possible with a sharepoint database connection. Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't use an optional section for this, but a regular section. Add the section to your form. You are using IP 2010, so the conditional formatting is now under rules -- select your section, then select Manage Rules from the home tab. Add a new formatting rule that hides the section if your field does not = 'E'. See attached sample ...

Thanks mgarant. Actually, that's I what to do. I want to create 1 item in the 'Review' column of my document library, for each Review date in my repeating table i.e. the review dates in the rows of my repeating table, all appear vertically in my Review column. Someone please help.  

It's ok, I closed the document down and then reopened and the text now appears. Obviously some sort of glitch.
