    Repeatable table counting

In Infopath 2007 I have created a repeatable table with a data connection to Sharepoint. In Sharepoint there is a list of all pupils (600 approx) (first and last name, classroom)

The repeatable should look like this:

    Classroom                       number of pupils.

    A1                                          3

    A3                                          7

    B7                                          9

First I had the problem with duplicated Classrooms, since there are +- 20 pupils in a class. With preciding-sibling as the conditional-format on the table this was solved.
The only thing that still remains that I cannot get the number of pupils right. Is the following possible? To get the value from the row next to the number of pupils and use this as a default value on a field.

    Like: count(@Classroom[contains(.; "{getvalue of each left row}")])   ?

    So it will show "A1" = 3
and in the next one "A3" = 7

Instead of now I got everytime as a result 1 on all fields.

How can I do this or get this working?

     Thanks for any help.
