Hi Dave.
In 2007 you can make data connections off-line but I am not sure this is possible with the default Access connections. If you were using SQL Express and web services that could work.
Probably the best would be to have two form versions.
One online, which I think you already have.
One that is similar in Schema but is for ...

Just use a Hyperlink to open a new form.
You can create menu forms which have dynamic links to forms if you want.
With browser forms you can also pass variables via the URL.

Is this with One computer or user or with multiple?
Are you using code in the form?
Typically InfoPath is sensitive to being low on memory.
If it is a particular computer I would do a repair on Office first and make sure you have the service packs.

Concat(Field1, " " , Field2)
Just use quotes.

You can purchase installable web services which can handle any structure you want to submit data to. Also to dynamically query a SQL table and Active Directory.

Their are ways using code but the best is with a dynamic web service.
As you known default secondary data connections return all data and a filter must be used to exclude what is not needed.
This is a showstopper for browser forms and where data sources are large (thousands of records).
Qdabra Database Accelerator includes a ...

I think you want close rather than quit.

You want to insert or update data in a SP list from InfoPath?
This can be done using a CAML. Search on CAML here and you will find the information you need.
You may be referring to pulling data into InfoPath from a list. Just setup a receive data connection to the list and you will import that data for use in your form.

I believe you can create a calendar shortcut via a hyperlink. Similar to the mailto: hyperlink.
I am pretty sure I have seen this but you would have to research Outlook Shrotcuts. If you can create one from a hyperlink and pass some values then it can be done via a hyperlink control and concatenation in Infopath.
The is would pop up a new ...
