• Padding issue continued

Clay, Regarding my padding issue...If I use the following code as my filter....@RELM_NME[concat(txt_RelmNumber, " ")] I get the first value of the recordset. If I change it to @RELM_NME[concat(txt_RelmNumber, " ")= @RELM_ID] it returns nothing. Can you see what I am missing? Thanks Ed

  • Gotta get this padding issue solved.

Clay, Regarding my 5 position character field (Account Number field) that can be combinations of numbers and alpha of 3-4-5 characters in length. For example AAYOS, API, 600, HYUF are typical looking account ID's. As I mentioned, if the value entered in by the user is API, I need to add 2 blank spaces for the lookup to work. I think I need ...

  • I have to enter a space at end of textbox value for lookups

Clay, Lookups are working, finally figured it all out. Only 1 strange behavior to ask.. When the user enters an account ID into the textbox, if the account ID entered is less than the field size of the table structure, we have to type in a space at the end of the text box. Do you know how to fix this feature? Thanks Ed

  • Lookups not working with numerics

I've been working hard on getting lookups to work, and finally I have done so. I have them working from drop downs and straight text boxes. Our accounts can be full text names like ABRA and they can be 600. My lookups work when I enter the text as in the case of ABRA, but when I try 600, (the rule does not return anything). Can anyone shed ...
