Issue with 3 and 4 character fields vs. 5 position table value

    Clay,

Still having the issue where 3 and 4 character ID's are not being found unless I hit the spacebar after input into the textbox. I have included my rule and condition for a 3 character account ID entered into the form.

    Condition:

txt_RelmNumber matches pattern Custom Pattern: AAA

    Action:

    field:   txt_RelmName

    Value:  @RELM_NME[normalize-space(@RELM_ID)=txt_RelmNumber]

    Is there anything wrong

If your normalize space function was working it would work for all scenarios.

    I thought you were @RELM_NME[concat(txt_RelmNumber, "  ") = @RELM_ID]

So for thee character nubers yu were adding two spacs to the entry.

For two spaces you would add three spaces.

You may add a message box to verify it is detecting AAA. Then at least you know that part is working.
