in my form i have the accademic year at the top and this needs to update each year (eg from 2012/2013 to 2013/2014 or maybe 2013 to 2014 to 2015) is this possible to do in anyway? i dont want to have to keep going to the form template each year and updating it - not only this but then i think it will also update the years/dates in the forms that ...

That's correct. It should be the AND rule that you use. I know it can be confusing like this but if you think of it like "instructional text is not equal to Columbus Day and its not equal to Veterans Day so hide this control" it can make a bit more sense

in my form i can get all of the current persons details but i need a field to get their head of department. i know how to get their manager, but this form must be approved by their HoD. is there a way i can do this?

I need to have my form done by the end of today, and for security the approve button on the form must be hidden unless it is a specific person in the organisation who opens the form. How would i set up a formatting rule on this button to say if not this person then hide this control ? thanks

I had moved the fields from one section to another and this hadnt updated in the list of my fields on the right- works as it should after i had moved them Thanks any way though

i have a section on my form where student details need to be entered and i need the form with a repeating section so the person filling out  the form can type in multiple students on one form, but when i click on the 'insert item' to add another section for another student the fields in the new section are automatically filled in ...

On the original view, the continue button is at the bottom of the form and when ive just put this button at the top of the page it opens at the top of the next page, so its obviously opening at the bottom of the second page because i was at the bottom of the first page when i clicked the button. can you think of any ways around this? i tried loads ...

hi, does anyone know why when i switch views in my form it opens down the bottom of the page? when a user fills out the first part of my form they click submit and it changes view for them to complete the next part but when you click on the continue button to change view, the next view opens but down the bottom of the page in stead of the top. ...
