InfoPath Dev

i have a section on my form where student details need to be entered and i need the form with a repeating section so the person filling out  the form can type in multiple students on one form, but when i click on the 'insert item' to add another section for another student the fields in the new section are automatically filled in with the original persons details, how can i get it so that when i add a new section it is blank?

 Could it be the same problem as discussed in this thread ?

I had moved the fields from one section to another and this hadnt updated in the list of my fields on the right- works as it should after i had moved them

Not sure what you did mean under "any way though"

You seem to confuse data (fields), in the Fields pane (which can be on the right or on the left) with controls (on design surface), i.e. containers for visual representation of underlying data (fiels).

They can be linked to or unlinked from underlying data (fields), or change them.
As well as both control can be without underlying data (field) and data (field) without its visual representation
