If you want to get rid of the field/data source completely, you'll have to open Data Source in the Design Tasks pane, find the field, and then remove it. I have a rule that I have created that grabs more detailed user information once a name has been provided to the people picker control. The problem is when a bad name is provided to the people picker. It gives the typical error 5566 and then the query pulls the submitters data instead. How do I tell the rule not to run (i.e. don't query data) ...

I need to be able to take a form with a picture file in a file attachment control and be able to open that picture in a regular infopath form - any ideas?  I know I can pull the attachements into a list in SharePoint but getting the attachments into a picture control is the challenge.

I reopened the modifed form (with the 2 new data connections) and republished.  I now get the error that says that the form must be filled out in the Filler, however the design checker shows no errors.  I've attached the modified form to this post.
