I have a rule that I have created that grabs more detailed user information once a name has been provided to the people picker control. The problem is when a bad name is provided to the people picker. It gives the typical error 5566 and then the query pulls the submitters data instead. How do I tell the rule not to run (i.e. don't query data) when a bad name is provided to the people picker? I have looked at the different ways to validate the data, but I can't seem to find anything that works.
