You can place the signature line inside a section control and use conditional formatting to hide the section accordingly.

Hi,
is there a way to hide a Signature Line object in MS Infopath 2010 based on wether or not some previous fields have been completed/selected from/checked ? I have a form and the bottom section contains a signature line, a comment field and a submit button. So far I have not been able to find information on how to make the form ...

Yes, this is very simple to do. Just create controls using fields that are not in your repeating group. On each of these fields, you can create a rule to copy the field's value to the corresponding field in your repeating group, and this will modify that field's value in all of the rows.

I am using IP 2007.

If you've set up a data connection to the web service, its data source should have a QueryFields section with fields for all the parameters. Just use a rule on the textbox or a button to copy that textbox's value to the appropriate query field.

I need to pass a value in a text box as a parameter to a web service.
The value returned from the web service then needs to be displayed in another text box.
Example: pass in ID from text box to the web service which then returns the social security number. That returned number is then displayed in a separate text box.

Hello,
It should work the way you're describing it, and I just tried this for myself and it worked just fine.
Could you describe exactly how you're trying to do this, exactly what rules you are using and in what order? A screenshot of the rule actions could also be good.

Hey Daniel
You are using which version Infopath 2007 or 2010 in 2010 you can cascade the dropdowns(second drop down gets populated based first dropdown selected value) by out of box features of infopath.
While in 2007 you have to do some coding for cascading. Which version are u working?
