How odd. Can you attach a copy of your form under the options tab in a reply? This is a list using a customized InfoPath form?

I'd love to see a copy of your form if possible - you can attach it under the options tab in a reply. One way to test this would be to put a calculated value on the form with the same formula so you can see the result prior to submitting to email.

Thank you, Hilary! Starting over and creating the form first then publishing it to a form library did the trick. It's nice when the solution is a simple one. :)

I have a data connection for an email submit. Below is the formula I have in the subject line. The Field that says "Value" is a list filed that is populated on the form by choosing a check box and the "Journal Accounting Date" is a calculated field. These should up correctly in my SharePoint List, but ...

Hello, I'm using SharePoint 2010 and Infopath 2010. I have a list in SharePoint and when I click edit everything works as supposed to be and gets updated. Well, it appears to be a "kinda" solution. I didn't think about this but it seems the form needs to be open for a calculated field to, uh, calculate (makes sense). All list entries made after I added the field work fine, but the older ones do not. I supposes I could open them and save them, but there are tens of thousands, so I'd ...

I see from your other replies that this is a list form. Were your other forms also list forms? If I recall correctly, setting people pickers with rules works in a new form, but that I had issues when editing (let me know if this is the case, I should be able to find a link for you outlining the issue). If you are using SharePoint Online, it will ...
