InfoPath Dev

Hello, I'm using SharePoint 2010 and Infopath 2010. I have a list in SharePoint and when I click edit everything works as supposed to be and gets updated. However when I click add new item the same form opens (as it should) and I fill in the necessary information and click save. The form closes as usual and the SharePoint site refreshes but no data is entered. The new item is nowhere to be found. However if I switch from Standard View to datasheet view and add in the information everything works. Is there some type of issue with data connection? Thank you.

How odd. Can you attach a copy of your form under the options tab in a reply? This is a list using a customized InfoPath form?

Hello, the issue is fixed. I had added a form submit rule and I believe that I must of had touched something with the data submit location. The fix was simply deleting my submit button and re adding it again. Then everything worked fine. Not to sure what happened exactly but it works now.
