• Re: InfoPath...Outlook....SharePoint... Email

Hi WebDude1 and welcome to our forum, Are you trying to figure out where to get the alias or are you saying that you have it but need to know how to populate based on it? Assuming you have the list of aliases, you need to filter based on the selected last name to set the e-mail alias. This requires that the secondary data source have LastName, ...

  • Adding Intranet Sites to IE Trusted Sites Makes IE Zone Internet

Managed code forms that use simple code like System.Environment.Username will fail with a security exception for form templates with domain trust when launched from an Internet IE zone. Here are the options:Remove Trusted Site setting for the intranet site. Pro: this is the best approach since intranet sites shouldn't have to be added ...

Hi Michael, When you say a ''form'' if you mean ''an xml file'', then the answer is ''yes''. When you say a ''form'' if you mean ''an xsn file'', then the answer could be ''yes'' but depends on how you deploy the form libraries.

  • Re: Bill of material

  • Re: Submit InfoPath Form to SharePoint Site

Hi Michael, In the InfoPath designer, go to Tools and add a Data Connetion to Submit to SharePoint. Then, you can either add a button to your form that uses that data connection, or define a default submit (under tools menu) to use that data connection. Good luck!

  • Re: Xpath Lookup

Hi RHarbeg, Best thing to do is to learn more about XPath! :) Sorry for the cheeky reply. I could look this up for you, but that wouldn't help you much because then you'd have to ask again. Better to learn about it yourself. It's not too hard, but XPath can be tricky nad you will have to structure the data correctly.

  • Re: SharePoint collects only first group's data

Hi Greg and welcome to our forum, One of the limitations of property promotion in Sharepoint is that you can't promote a collection of items. The properties are a flat table, so if you are trying to promote repeating items under one column in that table, it doesn't work. You can concatenate values into a string, but this isn't very useful. This ...

  • Re: Close Form Message

Hi Scarpacci and welcome to our forum! You should be able to change the name of the form before saving. You could even programmatically change the name of the form OnLoad so that the name is correct.

Hi again, When you say ''Print View'' are you talking about the Print View in the client-side form or when it is displayed in Form Server?
