    Bill of material

Hi, I have some trouble getting this done and iI wish someone could help:

I have two repeating tables which contains:

    Table1:BOM
    [Checkbox |ParentItemID | ParentItemDes | ParentCost...]

    Table2:champComp
[ParentItemID | ChildItemID | ChildItem Des | ChildCost...]

    The question is:
1- Is there a better way of doing this instead of using seprate tables and how
2- How I can link both so I can excute my condition (I have a checkbox on the ParentItem line, if it's checked, the cost calculation becomes the sum of all Childcost!!! if not, the ParentCost is entred manually)

    Thank you very much

    Hi RHarbeg,
I need to understand what you are trying to do better. Using two separate tables is a good design that enables flexibility down the road at the expense of more difficult layout in InfoPath (indeed, there are some things you can't do at all with two separate tables).
