Thanks, I read thru the article, but this looks like it is for 2010. I am stuck on MOSS that is a publishing site. So my options are limited. I actually created two solutions. one using 10 fields for each result and hiding them base on my result.
for a secong solution I added 20 sections each with an image of increasing lengths. I also hid these ...

I think is the form. Hillary. Please see attached. I have setup the EMMAStart field in the form as Date, Date and Time and and I still get the same error.

I was actually wondering about the data types in the final list that you are writing to with SubmitToSharePointList, not the form. Does that make sense? The bottom picture in your screenshot refers to your destination list - I'm wondering about the data types for the columns in that list.

The EMMAStart field in the form comes from the source SP list, where is a Date Only data field. The Birthdate in the form comes from a MSSQL table, not from a a SP list. Does it make sense?
Thanks,

It appears that IP doesn't like two field parameters. When I enter values into the preview, it comes up with ERR? in the resultant field. Yet in the formula editor, there are no errors found when running the check... Strange...

Hi there,
I don't believe there is a way to hide the red lines when a field required unfortunately. Perhaps what you can do is before you submit, perform a check whether the field is blank and surface some sort of custom error message to the user. You can then block submit until the field is filled out.

You should be able to use a field for the seconds parameter. Let me know if that doesn't work for you.
