InfoPath Dev

We have a form that uses @maxID+1 to add to the next form so each form number gets incremented by 1 each time a new one is created and this is all working very well.  But instead of starting off at "1", we want to start off at "1747".  How can we make this happen? Thanks! Dan

This is not working for me. None of my values or fields are set to 100% of the width of my form, but when the email gets sent, it's 100% of the width of the email body and all of the values are squished over to the left hand side of the form. If you have any suggestions other than what you've already given, please let me know.

Hi Hilary, thanks for the reply.  I tried this already and found out that it won't work because if I enter "Luke Skywalker", his ID turns out to be LDSKYWALK, which is 9 characters, and if I leave out the middle initial, it becomes LSKYWALKE, which is also 9 characters.  I need to limit this to 8.   Dan
