Hi, I have created a form for use with our company's purchasing department that requires the submitter to select a name from the person-picker, and then select a department from a pull-down list. After the submitter selects the person using the person-picker and the value fills in from AD, and then selects the Department in the next drop-down, the name selected in the person-picker disappears and they have to re-select it. They're telling me that they don't like this behaviour and want it fixed.
In Preview Mode, the form does not do this - it only does it after the form has been published. I've moved my lines around a couple of times, and have stopped using a Section for the department but it still has this post-published problem.
I'm using InfoPath 2010 Developer to create the form, and publishing it to a document library in SharePoint 2013.
Is there is a way of fixing this? Has anyone heard of this strange anomaly?
