I am glad to hear that SubmitDocument should overwrite if exists but that is not happening in my case. Each submit is creating a new row. In DAT I only see added documents. I am not sure what info you need to troubleshoot.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it but my one submit button on the form ...

Thank you. I was unable to open it earlier and opening it with Design was the key.
I am trying to piece together what you did. It is starting to make sense, but there are some pieces I need clarified. The Title_Lookup field on the Secondary data connection, is that something that I need to add? If I were to add it, I would need to know what it ...

Hi Doreen,
Glad to hear DBXL is up and running.
When a form is submitted via the DBXL Document Service (SubmitDocument), a set of processing instructions (PIs) are inserted into the XML form.
If the form is later reopened, modified and resubmitted, this will (or at least should) overwrite the same existing form.

It may be late tomorrow before I have a chance to do this. As I stated further up the thread - with a qRules 4.3 test form I created, deleting from the form also deleted ...

There are some sample templates in this thread - try saving one of them locally (right click - save as) and then from the local copy, right click and select design to open - see if that helps. If not, let me know & I'll review the thread (it has been a while & it is not fresh in my mind...)

I really thought this would be simple. I have no clue why I can't get this to work. I have 2 related lists. List A is a list of all the elections going on. List be are the candidates for each of those elections. I have bound a ddl to list A to show the Title and the ID. When the user picks an election, I want to show the candidates ...
