You can use rules for this, on the checkbox itself. Two rules:
1. If CheckBox=true,
set a fields value to the default value
2. If Checkbox=false,
set a fields value to blank
Hope this helps!

After reading some of the other old posts on this matter I have come across the following. If I create multiple items in the table(3) and they are submitted to the list, I can delete the very first item in the table and it will get removed from the list! If I try and delete any of the other items, it does not work.
If I ...

I have an infopath form attached to a list in SharePoint. I have a workflow associated with this list that alerts the user of new items added to the list and for them to review the item. Within the workflow, I have a link to open the infopath form, however, I was wondering if there was a way to do this only have the form open in the edit mode? My ...

It's been a while since I've done any forms, particularly in 2007, so this is probably something simple that I have forgotten.
Using IP 2007 and SP 2007.
I've created a data connection to retrieve information using the GetUserInfo webservice. If I don't put in a Sample Value it give me an error saying that the login name can ...

I wrote it into the submit button. I did attempt to disable the rules and add sharepoint mapping but I can't get that right either.
UPDATE: I figured out the problem >>ME<< While delving into why my SharePoint mapping attempts failed, it caused me to look at my URL closer and I realized I installed DBXL ...

Thanks.
How are the forms making it to the SharePoint form library? Did you set up a SharePoint mapping in the DBXL Admin Tool?
-
I open an existing form in SharePoint library.
I make changes on 3 fields.
Click submit button.
I have SQL open, and refresh the database where I see new row appear.
In DAT documents tab, click refresh, new item is there too.

Can you describe the step by step process? i.e.
1. Click Open for your doctype.
2. Fill out the form
3. Click Submit
4. Go to the Documents tab in DAT
5. Click Open on the existing document
6. Make changes and resubmit.
If the steps vary from the above, let us know what they are. Thanks!
